Postdocs
- If you are interested in postdoctoral research with the De Genna lab, consider applying for the Supportive, Multidisciplinary Addiction Research Training (SMART) program funded by NIDA.

- Consider applying for the Developmental Alcohol Research Training Program. Note that you would be able to conduct research on nicotine and/or cannabis use, not just alcohol.
Medical Students
If you are a medical student at Pitt, the Dean’s Summer Research Project and the Longitudinal Research Project provide excellent opportunities to learn more about research with the De Genna lab.
Graduate Students
There is currently no GRE or other graduate student funding available, but there are data for graduate student projects if you are looking for a project. In the Pitt School of Public Health, Dr. De Genna may be available to serve as a mentor or reader for Master’s and MPH essays or as a committee member for the PhD dissertation committee. Email Dr. De Genna and your Pitt Public Health advisor (Dr. Nancy Glynn for Master’s programs) if you are interested in her expertise for your graduate student research project.
